Designed by the renowned designer, Erwan Bouroullec, for Kvadrat, the Cilos throws (100% wool) have been added to the Ligne Roset collection in 2 colours, green or yellow.
“Textiles are among the most fascinating materials you can work with. Paradoxically, they belong to an extremely technical field. In this respect, textiles are the first driving forces of the industry, but their nature provokes the simplest and strongest sensations. For several years, Febrik and the Bouroullec studio have been conducting research around knitted textiles. These years were very special, it was the lockdown, the distance. So this work also carried a particular empathy for people. From this point of view, the Cilos throws are the simplest expression of our intentions: a material rich in details, heavy, colourful. A simple construction that relies on only two threads, allowing patterns to emerge from the weave of the knit. But above all, it is the drop, the contact with the body, the warmth of the wool... that do all the work. Many fundamental but intangible parameters”.
